Commissioner, Scholar

"On matters of race, on matters of decency, baseball should lead the way."

Dr. Angelo Bartlett Giamatti was president of Yale University.  He authored several books.  He was commissioner of Major League Baseball for just 154 days when he died in 1989.

I don't think he made $18.35 million.
