These two are from the Memphis Chicks.
According to Deric's page at Baseball-Reference.com he started in Single A Short Season and never made it out of Memphis (Double A).
Stu Cole is another story. He bounced around the minors, then made it to the Big Leagues, playing in nine games for the Kansas City Royals in 1991. He went back down to the minors and bounced some more. He started managing in the minors in 2001 and is currently heading up the Tulsa Drillers, part of the Colorado Rockies' system.
Deric was the Royals director of scouting before getting fired last year (or maybe it was the year before).
